 United States on Thursday charged a second Indian, former intelligence officer Vikash Yadav, in an alleged plot to kill terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who holds US and Canadian citizenship. The US justice department announced that while Yadav is not in custody currently, the 39-year old faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and money laundering. Yadav worked for Cabinet Secretariat, which includes the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), the country's foreign intelligence service. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released a wanted poster for Yadav. Born in 1984 in Haryana, Yadav is an Indian national based in India and used 'Amanat' as an alias when communicating with his co-conspirator, another Indian national, to facilitate the murder plot, according to the information mentioned on the wanted poster released by FBI.
